Scars + Mercy was built around a simple belief: broken doesn’t mean abandoned, and broken doesn’t mean alone.
Mental health struggles can make us feel isolated, ashamed, or somehow less worthy of love. Our scars — visible or invisible — can convince us that we need to become whole before we deserve grace.
But that isn’t the Gospel.
Again and again, Scripture shows us a God who draws near to the wounded. Christ meets people in their grief, fear, doubt, loneliness, and suffering. And after the Resurrection, even Jesus still bears His wounds.
The scars remain. So does the love.
Each design in this collection tells a different part of that story: suffering and healing, mortality and hope, sacrifice and mercy, brokenness and belonging.
These shirts aren’t meant to pretend that faith makes every struggle disappear. They’re reminders for the days when it doesn’t.
You can struggle and still have faith.
You can hurt and still have hope.
You can carry scars and still be deeply loved.
BROKEN ≠ ALONE.
WOUNDED ≠ WORTHLESS.
YOU ARE STILL BELOVED.
